Annex A – Quick Guide to the Tank Data Sheet
- Capacity: state in bbl and m³; indicate nominal vs. operating volume.
- Roof: cone roof, external/internal floating roof, or aluminum geodesic dome; specify seals and foam provisions.
- Materials: carbon steel, stainless (304/316), duplex, aluminum.
- Process conditions: design temperature and vacuum/pressure per API 2000.
- Appurtenances: level gauges, samplers, mixers, heating coils, manways, vents, thief hatches, foam hardware.
- Coatings: interior/exterior system and surface preparation (AMPP/SSPC).
- Civil: foundation type and secondary containment (e.g., ≥110% of largest tank if required by the AHJ).
- Regulatory: state SPCC/NSPS applicability and any state/local adders.
